I have used fake wasp nests like this one for about three years now. We had wasps flying near our front door and window. Somehow the wasps found a way in via the window occasionally. And it was scary going in and out the front door with wasps always flying about.I was in need of more fake nests and I wanted to give these a try. I hang one in between the front door and window, and one underneath our covered patio where the wasps would terrorize us and hide in the curtains. The nests really did the trick keeping wasps away. As a result, last year I zip tied one to a shepherd’s hook in another part of the yard to help keep them at bay.As soon as I received these, I put one up in our covered patio. They are about the same color as others I’ve used successfully. They are easy to assemble. They come with a long twist tie to secure it wherever you need. Other products included a ribbon, but this sturdy twist tie is much easier to use.I don’t see why these would not work the same as the others I’ve used. The material is thin but waterproof. All my other nests have held up for the almost 9 months they were in use through wind, rain and beating sun. The only thing is that they do fade over time. Hence, the reason I replace them every year.If you have problems with wasps scaring the heck out of you, give these a try. You can’t prevent every wasp from flying by, but these really have prevented wasps from making a home where I didn’t want them. The price point is in line with other sellers and is a great value.
